Control Sales Specialist

Traxon e:cue, a leading provider of innovative lighting control systems, is seeking a Controls Sales Specialist with expertise in dynamic lighting controls to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for a highly motivated individual with a proven track record in sales and a deep understanding of lighting control systems. As a Controls Sales Specialist, you will play a crucial role in expanding our market presence and building a strong sales network for our state-of-the-art lighting control solutions.

Job Description:

• Develop strong relationships with key customers and specifiers
• Present e:cue lighting solutions to a variety of users and specifiers (including sales agent partners, lighting designers, dealers, distributors)
• Work with specifiers to develop control system designs and programming scope
• Be known as the Lighting Controls “expert” within the Region to build brand strength and market/customer comfort with support and product applications
• Support regional sales managers in the promotion and development of Traxon e:cue solutions and services
• Develop and manage OEM-sales strategy channel for e:cue controls with 3^rd party lighting manufacturers
• Provide technical support and programming assistance to system users
• Conduct in-depth system trainings to programmers and end users, focused on the set-up, programming, deployment and operation of e:cue lighting control systems
• Creation of control system programming and content for exhibitions and demonstrations
• Capture Voice of the Customer market feedback and liaison with Product and Project Management teams for future development needs
• Collect requirements for Software modifications and translate into specifications for product development.
• Collaborate with product and marketing teams to develop on-line training resources
• System and new product/feature testing
   

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 5 years lighting controls industry experience.
• Extensive knowledge of common lighting control protocols, techniques, and code compliance.
• Familiarity with DMX/RDM, DALI, ethernet (ArtNET/sACN) and other common lighting control protocols.
• Experience with programming of architectural dynamic lighting controls systems
• Knowledge of North American lighting sales channels (Sales Agent, Distribution, Dealer/Systems Integrator)
• Up to 50% travel, as required
• Occasional work on active construction sites

Requirements:

• Knowledge of IoT relevant protocols and technologies such as Bluetooth, WiFi, REST, MQTT and encryption.
• Experience developing for TI RTOS or similar systems in C.
• Experience in development for Cortex M4/M3 (MSP432, TIVA, STM32).
• Knowledge of electronics and protocols like I2C and SPI complete your profile.
• Knowledge of at least one oject-oriented language such as C++ or C#, as well as software development under Windows, would also be an advantage.

Requirements:

Procurement Specialist

Description:

Adopt Traxon supplier management process throughout the supplier life cycle management (Scouting, Qualification, Selection, Monitoring, Development & Phase Out). Ensure supplier to deliver the best performance according to the pre-defined criteria. 

Main Responsibilities:

• Perform regular vendor scouting and product benchmark in lighting market. Ensure in use suppliers are offering the best price support and competitiveness.
• Systematic and cross-functional approach to develop a Commodity Business Strategy in alignment to Traxon goals and objectives.
• Supplier Contract Management to secure best terms and conditions for Traxon.
• Maximize contribution to CNI (a product cost saving mechanism) by performing highly competitive online negotiations with maximum pressure on suppliers.
• Leverage ERP system to setup vendor account and maintain purchase price record; optimize the ERP system and extends application such as regular PVO reporting.
• Sourcing for new suppliers (ODM/Component/Service) to fulfill the Traxon product roadmap.
• Participate in project team to support procurement activity.
• Lead regular business review meeting with supplier to purse supplier performance improvement and product information exchange.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
• Degree in manufacturing, SCM is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in procurement field.
