Four Winds Residences – 210 Barrone

Once home to the iconic Canal Bank & Trust, Four Winds Residences is today a mixed-use building, housing a commercial bank on the bottom floors with converted residential units occupying the top floors.

The project owner wanted this building to stand out while maintaining the beauty of its historic architectural details. Traxon worked closely with the owner‘s electrical contractor to select fixtures that would satisfy these requirements while offering ease and flexibility of control. The resulting lighting installation features Washer Allegro fixtures surrounding the facade, controlled by an e:cue Butler XT2 control engine with an Action Pad mobile application. This app allows the owner to control the lights from his iPhone, with the flexibility to change between pre-programmed lighting schemes as often as desired. The completed project has turned Four Winds Residences into a dynamic focal point of downtown New Orleans, clearly visible from the French Quarter and surrounding areas.
