Located in Doraville, Georgia, the newly constructed Assembly Atlanta, is a premier destination for film, television, and content production.
The expansive studio complex sits on 135 acres – the former site of a General Motors assembly plant – and was developed by Gray Media. The rear facades of Assembly Atlanta’s massive sound stages, positioned outside the secured areas of campus, offer flexible office and retail space. These structures also double as versatile streetscapes for filming, featuring architectural styles that are scarce in the Atlanta area.
Enhancing the visual identity of the complex is a striking 140-foot-tall media tower located at the main entrance. Its massive video screen overlooks a public green space – a gift to the residents of Doraville. The remaining sides of the tower are illuminated with dynamic, color-changing light by Traxon, and controlled via an e:cue system.
Visible from Interstate 285, the tower acts as a beacon for Assembly Atlanta, regularly playing light shows for holidays, Atlanta sports teams, and community causes.
Assembly Atlanta is more than just a studio – it’s a community built for connection, inspiration, and unforgettable stories.
