Ecolab is a global sustainability leader offering water, hygiene and infection protection solutions and services that protect people and the resources vital to live. And, with customers worldwide, Ecolab also has offices worldwide – from the United States and Europe to Latin America, Asia Pacific and beyond.

One of these locations – the company headquarters – is in St. Paul, Minnesota, and recently Ecolab decided to update the building’s exterior in support of their rebranding efforts. Together with Hunt Electric and Traxon e:cue, Ecolab made a bold statement in their downtown space, unveiling a striking new lighting installation on the buildings crown and roofline.

Due to the intended installation location – 190-feet above ground – this project posed unique challenges. The selected products required high brightness, accessible power components, and specialized Rope Access technicians from Hunt Electric. As a result, the decision was made to utilize Traxon Media Tube Plus and Traxon Washer Go, along with e:cue Lighting Controls, which brilliantly highlighted the crown area.

With the addition of high-tech, color changing LEDs, the Ecolab Headquarters has been transformed, presenting a vibrant display in the St. Paul skyline. Additionally, the modern, energy-efficient lighting installation showcases Ecolab’s commitment to innovation and sustainability, while maintaining the buildings original integrity.
